Even the Big Guys Slip Up - Google Chrome ToS
I don’t know how many users read the ToS when they downloaded Google Chrome, but right after they did, Google owned the intellectual property rights to anything entered on any website on the Internet via Chrome.
“11.1 (…) By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services. (…)”

Pretty cool, huh? Google eventually caught on to the problem and fixed it. Both the issue and their response are interesting. Now that’s crisis management done right! Well done, Google! Again.
“11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.”

Hahaha!
Fortunately they haven’t launched the OS X version yet, nobody needs a browser with such a TOS, right? :) Anyway, I downloaded the new Firefox 3.0.1. a few days ago and I think of it as being years ahead MS IE (let us not write devil’s entire name here… :). But it still doesn’t compare to Safari, which really rocks. :)
